Naw man... It is going way too slow... But that's just how it goes, you know?

Edwin, you have been using this software for quite a long time now. Do you recommend it? I took a look at the demo version and imagined that it could be "boring" solving the same positions over and over again. What are your experiences?
I use CT-ART 3.0 to practice tactics and like it very much myself.

Hey Majnu,

My experiences are that PCT does what it says. Personally i like it. And i would surely recommend that you "try" it out. I mean, there's no harm in trying, right? The demo offers a nice portion of what the full version brings. And you can keep using the demo no matter what. It doesn't have a time limit or something like that. And if you don't like it, you just get rid of it! Simple as that :-)
You can visit PCT's website on my sidebar.

P.S. Try to look at it individually and take it for what it is. My experience is that when you start comparing one thing with another, you might end up disappointed.

BTW, that P.S. comment could be used for more then just chess software ;-)

And i agree with you on CT-ART. It's good stuff. I have it as well. Problem is, i only have that much time to spend, if you know what i mean. And you have to make choices. I chose to work on PCT. BUT i certainly want to work on CT-ART sometime, and so many other things... Heck! If it was up to me i'd be working on everything all at once :-)
