Crackers for breakfast

Don't you just hate it when you're all alone, studying tactics and all of a sudden someone walks in, sits down right behind you and starts eating crackers for breakfast?

Hi Edwin,
I also hate being disturbed while I'm studying chess of playing online. Thank God my girlfriend understands that now. So I can study with the peace needed.

I just read at your profile that you started playing chess at the age of 29/30. I find that you are developing very fast! In only 5 years time you have reached a good level and you keep working hard.

Well, that certainly took you long to notice ;-)
And all the while i was thinking my little bio is the first thing to get noticed on this blog :-(
But yes. I picked the game up between the age of 29/30. For the first couple of years i only played. Mostly on Yahoo! It is only since a year or so that i am seriously studying the game. As far as study goes with only a serious hour a day, 5 days a week (if i'm lucky). Anyway, up untill now, i have given this game more of myself then i hold dear. or is it "more of myself then i care for"? Whichever it is, i certainly hope i have improved cause the game owe's me. But, i do hope you respect your opponents enough not to tell them any crap which you might think they want to hear. Cause i am not interested in hearing people telling me i have improved or that i am a good player while i actually suck. I rather have people telling me i suck, if that's the case. Anyway, i did improve! Enough to beat the guy that taught me how the pieces moved ;-) Which i tought was impossible at the time.

P.S. I'm up for a rematch when our other game ends, how 'bout you?
